Smallholding/Cottage to Let; Ireland, Co Longford

A beautiful cottage in a rural location with an acre of land alongside. Mature gardens with fruit trees, herbs and ornamental plants. South facing seating area. It is set on a cul-de-sac which leads to the shores of Lough Ree (part of the River Shannon) just a stroll away. Fabulous welcoming neighbours a few minutes walk either side. The award winning Tidy Towns village of Newtowncashel less than 10 minutes drive, Ballymahon and Lanesboro 15 mins drive and Longford town less than half an hour away. Dublin 2 hours.

The cottage has two large bedrooms, one of which could be an ideal office. Bathroom with shower/bath. Large kitchen with all mod cons. Large reception room with solid stone fireplace. Sitting room with open fire. South facing conservatory with French doors opening to garden. Garden shed. Also a shed all set up as a dog grooming parlour.

Oil central heating. Electric storage heaters. Double glazed and well insulated. This is a cosy cottage/bungalow with a welcoming and homely vibe. It was previously owned by an artist.
