I found out that a neighbour that also keeps poultry had all their chickens stolen last night!
They were shut away as usual and when they went to let them out this morning they were all gone.
The gardai haven't been able to do much.
Pretty sad news really, they were all laying as well.
I might give them a couple of hens to help them out.
Some real scumbags around now.

This is while things are still fairly sane. Wait till the end of the year or after our much awaited mini budget to see how desperate some people become.
