Where to source non GM chicken feed

Postby Diz on Tue Feb 03, 2009 9:34 pm

Hi all

Can anyone advise where we can buy GM free chicken feed (layers pellets at the moment) in the Roscommon area? Our local shop sells GM Layers pellets, but I would prefer not to buy this and none of the other local suppliers sell GM free. I have located websites in the UK, but the shipping costs are too much. We will also be wanting duck/geese feed and chick feed, but at the moment can not find an Irish supplier.

Where do others buy there feed?

Hi

There's two suppliers near you.

Spider, Arigna, Co Roscommon. 086 8101409

Peter & Jenny, Willowbrook, Boyle, Co Roscommon 087 7991469

Prices vary, shop around, as do charges for delivery.
If you know of other organic suppliers in Ireland please add their details to this topic.

I spoke to Peter the other day and he informed me that they are no longer doing the smallholder range.....

I am getting mine from Martin and Yvon O'Flynn in the Borlin Valley near Bantry.
