Mangalitza piglets

Postby Morhogs on Wed Aug 06, 2008 8:54 pm

Following the arrival of the first Mangalitza piglets to be born in Ireland, I have a few looking for good homes. They thrive outdoors and cope well with our Irish climate. A large pig suitable for turning over the earth or for the freezer - the best parma ham in the world.
If anyone is interested in the piglets or would like to know more about this rare and unusual breed of pig please get in touch.

piglets

Postby Morhogs on Tue Oct 21, 2008 6:47 pm

Just a wee note to say that all the Mangalitza piglets have been sold and I now have a waiting list for the next litter, this is great news for the breed here in Ireland. I hope to go back to the U.K. soon to get more stock from unrelated blood lines to continue the breeding programme.

Best wishes
