Hi, my name is Miriam and I live in Leitrim with my partner on a few acres of wet hilly land. We live off-grid and have done since we first arrived in Leitrim around the turn of the century
We have sometimes managed to grow food here however in the last few years that has taken an back seat to trying to run a business. We have the frame for a pollytunnel and hope that perhaps next year we will put it up.
We do have some beautiful trees on the land, including a few fruit trees and we plant more every year.
We use ponds for grey water treatment and have lots of happy frogs.
