Hello all. We're a young family all unemployed with about an acre and an half. Always kept pure breed show quality chickens but always wanted to do more but never had time. So early this year got out the spade and dug up a large vegi patch. Grew enough to feed half the area. Brilliant one of the most enjoyable things i ever done watching every thing grow and then getting to harvest your own. Anyway decided to expand last week and bought 2 gloucester old spots weaners. Waiting to get our herd number to bring them home. Should have it next week we hope, the dept. vet is coming on Tuesday to inspect the place. Also thinking about 2 pygmy goats early next year. It's so hard to draw a line and say enough's enough. Looking forward to alittle getting involved here and sharing a little. That's all for how John
